How You'll Contribute to the Team:

The Assistant Director of Housing Operations will create and implement systems and processes to support the goals of the facilities team. • Participate in developing systems and processes required to support facility operations to enhance the student living experience in residence halls.
  • Supervise facilities staff including maintenance workers, housekeepers, mail clerks and outsourced resources.
  • Ensure work orders are performed to customer satisfaction in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding partnership agreement KPIs.
  • Analyze weekly work order reporting; gather feedback from students on completed work order satisfaction and oversee and resolve escalated issues with students and university staff.
  • Evaluate the use of resources to improve efficiencies; define priorities of work and accountability and communicate to staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring facilities are compliant with, and successfully pass, the annual APPA inspection.
  • Manage vendor relationships and initiate contract negotiations.

  • Responsible for the rollout and completion of preventative maintenance programs; maintain the master calendar for facilities’ projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.
