Position Description

General summary: Implements a territory-based recruitment and outreach plan for Extended University Programs. This position is located in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Major Duties:

- Assists in implementing a territory-based recruitment and outreach plan. Identifies and develops leads for regional, online, conferencing and professional development. Ensures a seamless student experience throughout the enrollment funnel.

- Builds and maintains relationships with local influencers. Identifies community challenges and recommends solutions.

- Represents the program at recruitment activities.

- Collaborates with the student engagement staff in order to ensure consistent lead generation.

- Maintains student engagement from lead generation through admission.  

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field from an accredited institution.

- Two years' relevant experience.

- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.

- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.  

Desired Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Public Administration, Higher Education, or other relevant field from an accredited institution.

- Experience in sales, recruitment or outreach.  

Additional Information:

Terminal appointment ends 06/30/2020 with the possibility of renewal.

A simultaneous internal and external search for qualified candidates has been approved. Applications for transfer will be evaluated with external applications.

Travel will be required throughout the assigned territory on a daily basis to meet with prospective students and influencers. Hours may vary by week and semesters, including evening and weekend hours, to support initiatives.
