Position Description

Springfield College invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor position in our Master's degree Program in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education. Responsibilities include teaching graduate coursework in student affairs, higher education, counseling, and psychology; supervising students in fieldwork; advising and recruiting students; and assisting with management, development, and administration of the overall program. The SPA program is a strong, established graduate program housed in our Psychology Department.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates for this 9-month tenure-track position must have an earned doctorate in Higher Education, Student Personnel Administration, or a closely related field by August 2019. Candidates who evidence excellence in teaching, advising, and mentoring students; have initiated a program of scholarship; have worked within a university/college-level student affairs division; and have a record of administrative activities related to graduate program management will be given preference.
