Position Description

The Associate Director of Residential Education (ADRE) position supports the academic mission of Emory University, Emory Campus Life, and the Office of Residence Life (ORL) by facilitating the living/learning environments, and other student learning and academic success initiatives in the residence halls. The ADRE works collaboratively with staff members in the aforementioned organizations, as well as academic departments, faculty and administrators.

This position manages/oversee/directs the development, implementation and assessment of the residential education initiatives in collaboration with the residence life staff. The position will work with the resident advisor class and faculty engagement.


Job Requirements

Interested candidates must have a master's degree (PhD preferred) in student personnel, higher eductation administration, counseling or related fields. Five year of expereince in a residential life or housing program is required.
