Position Description

The Career Education Coordinator is a new role in the innovative Colorado State University Career Center that delivers career education to CSU students in in-person and online formats. This role will serve students 1:1, develop creative technology-based solutions to help serve the large student population and develop and execute specialized career education initiatives for diverse student populations.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in higher education administration, education, counseling, liberal arts, or related field; OR a Bachelor’s degree AND a minimum of three years of direct, full-time experience providing career education to students in a higher education career services environment.
  • Direct experience coaching students on wide variety of career development topics in a full-time professional position, or a minimum 20-hour per week, 2 year graduate assistantship.
  • Personal and professional commitment to diversity as demonstrated by involvement in teaching, research, creative activity, service to the profession and/or diversity/inclusion initiatives.
