Position Description

Coe College invites student-centered professionals to apply for the position of Dean of Students and Senior Student Affairs Officer.

 

The Dean of Students (DOS) has a college-wide leadership role and serves as the Senior Student Affairs Officer (SSAO) at Coe. The DOS works closely with other senior leadership to provide a liberal education that is transformative both in and outside of the classroom. The DOS is also essential member of the core leadership team leading the College’s mission-driven commitment to diversity and inclusion.

 

The DOS is responsible for a wide variety of programs and services that support student success including the direct oversight of the Student Conduct Manager, College Chaplain & Counselor, Coordinator of Multicultural Affairs, Director of Wellness & Counselor, Programming & Student Organization Coordinator, Orientation & Events Coordinator and Director of Residence Life.

 

Qualifications:

 

Masters in Student Affairs Administration or related field required.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative leadership in Student Affairs.
Minimum of five years of experience working with students directly in Student Affairs.
