Position Description

Frostburg State University invites applications for the full-time, exempt position of Deputy Director of ADA, EEO, Title IX Compliance and Training.  Salary commensurate with experience and includes University System of Maryland benefits package.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the University’s Title IX Coordinator, the Deputy Director of ADA, EEO and Title IX Compliance and Training is a full time administrative position.  This position’s primary duties will include but will not be limited to managing the University’s prevention efforts, outreach/awareness campaigns, and training programs pertaining to ADA, EEO and Title IX related topics and issues.  Additionally, this position will be responsible for conducting prompt, equitable and impartial investigations of ADA, EEO and Title IX related complaints.  Lastly, this position will help foster and maintain a campus environment free form all forms of discrimination, harassment and violence.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social services, business or related field with a least four years of experience in ADA, EEO and Title IX investigative work, assessment or training.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in social services, business or a related field.  Prior experience working with students, faculty and staff in a higher education setting.  Six years of progressively responsible, directly related experience as an ADA, EEO and Title IX investigator.  Knowledge of and direct experience working with diverse populations and interpreting federal regulations.  Prior experience in developing and implementing training curricula for both students and employees within the higher education setting.
