Position Description


Director, Native American Student Services #603146

Northern Arizona University’s Native American Student Services is currently seeking a full time Director.  Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, the Director has overall responsibility for the activities, programs, and operations of the office of Native American Student Services. The Director is a collaborative leader responsible for working with university departments, faculty, and staff to assist in improving or enhancing the university environment and support networks for Native American students that contribute to their success. The Director’s vision is to work collaboratively with others throughout the institution to achieve persistence and graduation rates for Native American students that are equal to or surpass the overall university average.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have a Master’s degree in student affairs, social sciences, education or related field. And five years of administrative/coordinative experience. Or any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience.
