Position Description

The New College of Florida Office of Student Affairs is accepting applications for an Executive Assistant reporting to the Dean of Student Affairs.  The responsibilities for the Executive Assistant to the Dean include providing a wide range of administrative and professional support for the Dean and all units within Student Affairs. As the Executive Assistant, you will assist the Dean in daily activities and serve as a liaison to the President, VP for Finance and Administration, Provost, Deans, Division Chairs program directors, local and regional organizations, the Board of Governors, and the Board of Trustees.  You will also serve as first responder to student/parent student life issues. The successful candidate will have experience in higher education and budget projections, and should be able to work well in teams and one-on-one, and be comfortable working with a range of people from students to university leaders. Banner software, WebGUI, and Microsoft Office skills and the ability to prepare written reports, work independently, multi-task and pay attention to detail are essential.   For more information and to apply, visit www.ncf.edu/employment.
