Position Description

Oversees day-to-day operations of the William H. Hall Student Residential Complex (Hall Complex)  -- a 600+ bed, year-round housing complex consisting of 8 facilities located both on and off campus including the Gateway Apartments.  Undergraduate, graduate/professional students inclusive of athletes, scholarship work program students,  Veteran’s and non-traditional populations;  unit types include apartments, traditional rooms and house environments; implements multiple scholarship and learning community programs; supervises graduate and undergraduate staff; oversees desk operations & staff serving multiple properties; monitors budgets, purchases and expenditures; develops community development model supporting Residence Life learning outcomes and educational objectives; counsels and/or makes referrals for residents; serves as advisor to student organizations; establishes policies and procedures for daily operations; coordinates extensively with affiliate offices and groups inclusive of athletics, alumni groups, Greek Life and Student Life.   


Job Requirements

Master’s degree in college student personnel, education, or related field; minimum two-years post-masters experience in Housing, Residence Life or related field; high level of understanding regarding graduate, professional and non-traditional students; strong administrative and communication skills required.
