The Program Coordinator I for Graduate Programs at the Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) is responsible for the overall management and administration of the Professional MBA (PMBA) Degree Program, from the time of admission through graduation. In addition, the Program Coordinator I will assist with other Graduate Programs, as needed.
With a focus on student retention, the primary duties include registration, administration, faculty support, student support, event coordination, and performance of other tasks as required. The goal is to provide the highest level of customer service to the students and faculty. This individual works closely with RSBC faculty, staff, and campus administration to ensure effective, efficient program administration, resulting in the retention and success of the PMBA students. This individual will also support the Graduate Academic Services Office with planning and execution of events and other activities aimed at improving recruitment and retention of students in other RSBC Graduate Programs. The position will also provide audio/visual support, such as connections between computers, portable projectors, and smart classrooms.
The Program Coordinator will specifically plan and execute various events, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts with venues, and manage the purchase of instructional assets, technical supplies, and other necessary items like regalia and graduation gifts for PMBA students, gifts for industry and alumni panels etc.
The Program Coordinator’s ability to relate to the students, faculty and staff is the key in both customer satisfaction and retention of the Professional Degree students.

· Bachelor’s degree in business, adult education, marketing, or communications, plus a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
· Ability to work both independently and be an enthusiastic team player. Willing and able to perform other functions as required to ensure team success.
· Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, and time management skills. Must be flexible and well organized with meticulous attention to details.

o Salesforce or other CRM application(s)
o Canvas or other Learning Management System
o Virtual meeting systems such as WebEx, Zoom, or others that Rutgers may provide for business use.
· Familiarity with basic audio/visual connections between computers, portable projectors, and smart classrooms.
Must be able to work regular Saturday hours, occasionally evening hours, and travel within the region. The typical work week is Tuesday-Saturday, due to the in-person cohort structure of the PMBA Program. Additionally, must be willing an able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
