Job Description & Responsibilities.

We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team and be responsible for all our program offerings.  Our programs take place online, in Latin America and in the United States at UC Berkeley and Yale University.

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, management, and execution of all areas of the programs. He or she will work in coordination with other areas of Eduexplora to ensure objectives are met.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

For programs taking place at UC Berkeley and Yale University, the Program Manager will be responsible for the following:

Coordinate all logistical aspects with universities in the US.  (Dorms and classroom availability, meals, contract, legal, health, camp license and any other needed requirements of the university, state, and other relevant organizations.)
Budget Management
Hire Instructors
Hire, trains and manages all staff who work directly with students.
Coordinate schedules and logistics for all program areas: academic areas, field trip and extra-curricular activities. (Bus transportation, airport pick up and drop off, instructors’ material and other needs to deliver class content, coordinates with museums, tour company, merchandising, etc.)
Updates Staff Manual and Code of Conduct.
Coordinates, and assist on instructor needs before, during and after the program takes place.
Overseas Chaperone training and management.
Applicants must be available to work on site on US university campus during the program and will oversee and execute daily operations.
Oversee wrap- up of programs and debriefing with staff, campus partners and Eduexplora team.

For programs taking place in Latin America:

The Program Manager will hire, train, and manage local staff and coordinate all needed requirements for the successful execution of the local programs. This includes hiring instructors and coordinating with the local staff hotel arrangement, supplies for class, meals for students, extra-curricular activities for students and field trips for instructors, budget management, among others.

For programs taking place online:

The main responsibilities will be hiring instructors, manage class schedule and manage our online platforms, among others.


Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills Required :

Eduexplora is a fast-growing company, innovation, new processes, new programs, changes, and improvements are constantly being implemented. The Program Manager will be faced with different scenarios and new challenges, and will be expected to be flexible, communicative, know when to ask for support, and be graceful under pressure.

Bachelor's degree

Pre-college academic program experience and or college campus residential life experience.
Administrative and logistical experience
Exceptional planning, prioritization and execution skills
Strong culture and relationship builder who actively engages and builds relationships with instructors, staff, and university partners.
Calm under pressure and ability to manage stress
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently
Second language: Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
