Position Description

SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for a Residence Hall Director.  This is a full-time, live-in position. Responsibilities include: administration, supervision and educational development within a residence hall housing approximately 200 students; staff supervision, selection and training; counseling; conduct; needs-based theme programming; participation in a rotating duty schedule.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.  Master's Degree in College Student Personnel or a related field preferred. Residence life experience necessary.  Willingness and ability to maintain secure residential learning community through frequent student contact, campus involvement and visibility required.  The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be organized, and have a solid understanding of diverse student populations.
