The Norwich Campus of SUNY Morrisville has been serving the Norwich community and the surrounding areas for more than 46 years, offering students associate degree options such as Criminal Justice, Computer Information Technology, and Nursing. The campus is also used by businesses, not-for-profits and community partners for training, events and videoconferencing.

The Syracuse Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), administered by SUNY Morrisville, provides the urban community of Syracuse with innovative academic programs leading to higher education as well as vocational training programs leading to gainful employment and economic self-sufficiency.

Job Description:
SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for a Residence Hall Director to start on August 1, 2019. This is a full-time live-in position. Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to: occupancy management, facilities management, performance of administrative duties, student staff supervision, selection and training, enforcing and adjudicating violations of the Student Code of Conduct, participation in a rotating duty schedule and other work related commitments during nights and weekends, student development, developing interpersonal working relationships with students, community building and promoting diversity within the residents halls and campus community, assist the department by focusing specifically on an area of Diversity Initiatives, Judicial Affairs, Recruitment & Retainment, Operations & Software, RA Training and Residential Curriculum, and serving on departmental and campus wide committees.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and experience working in Residence Life required. Master's degree and professional experience working in Residence Life preferred. .

Additional Information:
Annual salary: $35,803, 10-month obligation. Position does not lead to permanent appointment.

Partially furnished 1-2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom apartment, cable TV, and wireless internet. Excellent fringe benefits, partial meal stipend while school is in session.
