Position Description

Description

The Student Success Coach coordinates and implements programmatic components of scholarship and student success programs to ensure that goals, objectives and criteria specified by the donor and the College Fund are accomplished in accordance with College Fund policies.

 

Responsibilities include implementation, assessment, and development of donor funded program components that will result in improvements in persistence, degree completion, and career readiness through the guidance and support of the College Fund Signature Scholarship Programming. Additionally, responsibilities include collaboration across departments to implement public recognition/donor stewardship activities, student ambassador development, and program/event planning.  This position will actively work with team members in student success services, resource development, and public education to develop, execute, and report on scholarship and student success programming.

 

Essential Job Functions

Plans, coordinates, and executes programmatic components of scholarship and student success programs.
In collaboration with the SSS team and Resource Development the Program Coordinator will support the design and development of the College Fund’s Signature Scholarship program.
Serves at the team lead for the Student Ambassador program, developing and supporting the success of the program.
Provides information and support for public awareness, donor cultivation, stewardship, and reporting.
Assists with student recruitment for internship and other student involvement opportunities.
Assists in researching, developing, and implementing innovative ideas to improve and increase Student Success Services team programming related to student success objectives.
Continually evaluates the use of online college success resources provided by the College Fund and makes recommendations to the Directors of SSS and Resource Development on retaining, enhancing, and replacing resources to better serve scholars.
Monitors and manages student database entries, student documents, and associated reports with a focus on data-driven analysis to measure effectiveness.
Provides proactive communications connecting recipients to intentional intervention and student support services provided by the College Fund, their college, or their community.
Communicates on a regular basis with scholars regarding upcoming deadlines, requirements, and expectations associated with their scholarship award.
Engages students in educational and career planning activities to help guide them to achieve their graduation and career readiness goals.
Supports other Student Success Services and College Fund initiatives.
