  • Notification and Education: coordinate training for students about their rights under Title IX and the grievance procedures as well as coordinate training for all employees on Title IX policy and their role as mandated reporters of sexual misconduct and harassment.
  • Consultation, Investigation and Disposition: receive and process both inquires and complaints from students, faculty, staff, administrators and third parties regarding rights and responsibilities concerning harassing behavior or other discriminatory behavior in violation of Title IX.
  • Institutional Monitoring and Compliance Assurance: remain knowledgeable of current state and federal law and regulations and trends in the field of education related to harassment and other discriminatory practices that violate Title IX by maintaining professional qualification through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Advising President, General Counsel and the Dean of the College: provide ongoing consultation regarding Title IX requirements, grievance issues and compliance programs.
  • Annual Reporting: prepare annual statistical reports for the campus community on the incidence of sexual harassment.

Full-time members of the Franklin & Marshall College professional staff receive competitive starting pay and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health coverage, dental, vision, generous retirement savings plan contributions, education benefits for employees, spouses and dependent children, and enjoy access to all College facilities including dining venues to suit all tastes, recreation and fitness facilities, and libraries, plus access to College performances, lectures, and events.
