TPE Candidate Coach (extended volunteer role)

Do you have experience reviewing resumes? Offering Interview Advice?  Have you gone through a successful search? Consider the opportunity to serve as a "coach" to registered TPE Virtual Event candidates. Pre-TPE Virtual Coaches do not need to attend TPE to serve as a Coach. The goal is to have coaches mentor candidates for the month prior to TPE to give advice, review a resume, and help them make connections.  In addition, TPE Coaches will maintain virtual engagement with their candidate throughout the Spring term/search process.

Virtual Round Table Presenter

A Virtual Roundtable Presenter presents on topics via webinars geared towards entry-level professionals or mid-level professionals. This online presentation would be geared towards preparing a candidate for the job search and/or transition into the field or a new student affairs role for a mid-level professional.  TPE Roundtable Presentations take place throughout the year and leverage a virtual setting.

Eligibility: You must be a professional with 3+ years of full-time experience in Student Affairs. Presentation topics and presenters will be determined a minimum of 4weeks in advance in order to schedule the webinars on certain dates and times in the calendar year.

Featured Blog Writer

Write a blog post to be featured on the TPE website geared towards entry-level and mid-level professionals and/or employer/recruiting teams.

Resume Reviewer

Review candidate resumes in advance of the TPE Virtual event and/or throughout the year as a TPE Resume Reviewer. TPE Committee members will pair resume reviewers with TPE Candidates. Resume Reviewers are expected to provide timely feedback to TPE Candidates along with advice using email, phone, or video conferencing. If selected to review resumes, members of the TPE committee will reach out to help facilitate the process.
